Oh lord I'm SO late this week but I'm a busy a gal what can I say! Also no one reads this or cares that I'm late though so lowk who gaf LOL. ALSO also, it is officially (written at 12:41AM) my queen legend icon Chappell Roan's birthday so it feels lucky that I'm post on this holy day anyways. I am VERY excited to get into this episode if you couldn't already tell from the title, so let us not waste another second!

I was a little bit nervous for this challenge ngl especially considering how unfunny they have usually been these past few years, but the girls turned it for the most part!! I like that the pairs were random, it was nice seeing some of the girls work with people they wouldn't have normally picked. Also, very glad that this challenge gave every girl equal screen time that was a ncie touch. I'm gonna go through the performance by pairs this time around, and I'll give my thoughts on who I thought the best was in each pair yadayadayada LET'S GO.

Mia Starr and Juicy Love Dion: Prop DD

Lowkey, the premise for this ad had the most potential to be really funny and these girls flopped. I had high hopes for Juicy initially because of her stellar performance in RDR Live but she let me downnnnn ugh but whenever she does poorly I kinda live ngl because you know she'll give u a fab lipsync to make up for it LOLLLL. They could've really taken it THERE I wanted Jimbo-sized titties and a granola chick, I was not buying whatever they were selling nope nope. Mia was okay, def far better than Vita or Juicy but still this fell very FLAT for me, almost as flat as Juicy... HAH kneeslapper amiright! ANyways, this was definitely my least favorite ad.

Jane Don't and Kenya Pleaser: Prop C

I'm also so impressed with Jane's ability to really take on all of these different character types, she's so good at what she does ugh. The writing was kinda okayyyy for this group, I think the two girls are just insane personalities so they had no issue with selling it anyways. Kenya's line and delivery with the "silly-ass drag queens" was SO FUNNY to me though idk why lmao I love Kenya's line delivery for legit everything though, like in RDR Live it was kinda giving the same type of deal but it's still funny asf so idc if she rinses and repeats a character ykyk. They were great, love.

Athena Dion and Myki Meeks: Prop 6969

Y'ALL ALREADY KNOW WHAT IM BOUTTA SAY, MYKI FUCKIN KILLLLLEDDDD THIS. I was literally watching my screen like a toddler watching Cocomelon girl I was living. She is so funny and some of the character choices she makes literally fit my sense of humor PERFECTLY like the Lollipop bit was so random but like- it was hilarious so WHY NOT? LOL she's so odd I love her. Athena played her role VERY well too I must say, I kinda live for Athena! For an old gal (sorry!) she kinda hits a lot of the marks that older queens do not always hit, I was pleased for sure. AND AND, this ad probably had the most difficult theme to work with, they ate it up and made sure the meaning was still clear, but it was still funny and very parody-y which was what the assignment was, so they ate PERIOD. Also, the "obrigado" delivery was EVERYTHINGGGG HAHA I LOVE MYKI MEEKS MUAH MUAH

Discord Adams and Nini Coco: Prop Kiki

At the beginning of this season I was kinda scared that Discord AND Nini would be more of fashion girls and less of comedy girlssss ykwim? They both give that vibe idk what tell ya. BUT OMG especially Discord literally eats up a role I'm telling y'allllll and did you see the scenes of them with Michelle when Discord swopped in and saved Nini's ass? I love Discord I can't believe she had all of those allegations before the cast was released that will forever be so odd to me, I think she is fab. Nini did a great job too once she got her footing, and the makeout was TEA I cannot believe they just went in like that omg I love the commitment.

Darlene Mitchell and Vita Vontesse Starr: Prop 4REAL

DARLENE MY PRECIOUS BB DARLING MUFFIN okay I'll stop now SHE WAS SO GOOOOOD she always is she knows exactly where to take the directions and how far to take it, can't say the same for Vita unfortunately. Darlene carried PERIODDD. Vita sucked, I'm sorry she did. Maybe I'm just salty because of last week, idk and idc Vita was so unfunny.

Runway and Extra Notes:

I really enjoyed this runway category! I don't remember if this is something that has been done before but I think it's really fun, and it allows for some pretty fun materials that aren't typically seen in weekly runways to be put on display so that's wonderful of course. I'm not gonna go crazy with the runway talk, I lived for the CONCEPT of Myki's and it was probably my fav, but I do wish that the suit was a little bit more visible on screen. I LOVE the idea though, and after seeing the look on instagram I can definitely agree that the quality and construction is very impressive, I live. Vita's was gorgeous although Michelle was absolutely correct in saying that it did not fit the brief. I liked the way that the material on her fascinator and bodice was reflecting light that was super cool. I also really enjoyed Jane's I ADORE her personal style it's so colorful and unique and all the references she makes are so sophisticated, I love Jane.

Okay now, let's be so fr here, was Nini's look really THAT good? I did not liek the bra with the little pasties, like girl just stone the whole bra idk what to tell u. Yeah idk I didn't really vibe with it, idk why it got so much hype. Same with Juicy, don't know why it got so much hype. The headpiece looked INSANE, and the fashion icon herself Luxx Noir London said that Juicy was a little too short for the dress, and she was absolutely correct. It seemed a bit awkwardly fitted? idk maybe it's just me. The headpiece was lowkey a crime though EEP.

Small note, I loved that they did individual judging immediately after each of the ads! It was super helpful because I actually remembered the stuff they judges were referencing in their critiques, whereas if they just played all the ads and then gave all the critiques it usually gets all jumbled up and confusing yk? clap clap clap to production.

LIPSYNC and Final Thoughts!

Only thing I'm going to say about the lipsync is thank god Juicy can dance because that bitch did not know the words HAHAHA but the Britney choreography she did at the music break of the song is STUCK IN MY HEAD the timing was TEW good. Also, one thing about Rupaul's Drag Race is that they love a Dua Lipa song HAH. I'm not complaining though.

I'm glad Vita is going, no REAL hate to her because she really seems fab but she wasn't giving what I needed to see, it was her time. I'm SOOOOOOOO EXCITED AND HAPPY for my baby Myki she needed this so bad I was literally losing my shit when she won I felt like a proud mother fr. YIPPEEEEE the Meeks is on the rise!

Note:

It's late on Wednesday night y'all and it's been a long couple weeks lol sorry if this post is not as entertaining and lively as per usual, I'm tryna power through before I let another day of no posting pass me by. Next week will be much better I swear!

"Stim, honey, stim" -Myki Meeks quote at the very end of last episode because I forgot to put in in the post WHOOPS but it needs to be spotlighted rn soooo here!
