Holy hell Season 18 ate the premiere UP. I cannot wait to break it down, I have so many things to say about all the queens, along with some hot takes muahaha

I need to preface this by saying that I am loving and LIVING for all of these girlies and I have so much respect for each and every one of them. These are all just my thoughts, coming from someone who is absolutely NO EXPERT in this field by any means. Also, if it seems like I am biased towards Ms. Meeks, just know that I absolutely am! She's my hometown hero always and forever #themeeksshallinherit

First Impressions

If I'm being brutally honest, the entrance looks this season did not gag me as much as I would've liked IM SORRYYYYY OKAY. The ones who really gave it for me would probably be Discord Addams, Ciara Myst, Nini Coco. Discord's was my favorite, it told me everything I needed to know about her, and she MADE ALL OF IT? diva. Also her wig was so unique it rly caught my eye idkkk! Jane Don't and Myki Meeks are def up there as well, the rest were sorta okay though sigh

Now as far as personality goes, YALL WHY AREN'T WE TALKIN BOUT DD FUEGO MORE? She was so cutie patootie, lowkey giving narrator of the season tea, she was funny as hell hello! Also, I am absolutely OBSESSED with Darlene Mitchell idk what it is about her she is just so adorable and she seems like the absolute sweetest, THAT SMILE omg I'm an immediate fan (and, coming from a lesbian mind you, she's fine as hell CRY ABOUT IT).

ahem, DESIGN CHALLENGE FIRST EP? old drag race is BACK and I'm loving thattt! Ciara Myst takes the prize for the most underrated, HER LOOK WAS AMAZING. I truly feel like I am missing something because no one is freaking MENTIONING her and I think that's insane because on tv it looked polished as fuck and that was literally her brand DOWNNN. I agree with the top two, teetering on that though because Jane's look was probably the most cohesive and was also super polished. Her wig choice went crazyyy too, I might've swapped her with Nini but then the lipsync...BUT I'M GETTING AHEAD OF MYSELF.

Now yall, let's be real, Mandy's flower look was not cute. Idk why people are tiptoeing around that, none of her looks so far have impressed me in the slightest and there's this nervous energy around her that I'm not rly vibing with! Also I did notttt fuck with the fact that she called her drag conceptual, because it aint. I think she just needs some time and mentorship but idk! Kenya's mishap of an outfit I can understand a little bit more considering that she was going THROUGH IT this episode omg girl! It's alright Kenya get up diva you got this

More Notes on the Queens

My queen my icon my savior MYKI I love seeing her on the screen, getting to know more of her personality is so lovely after only previously seeing her on stage and on social media.

I have a hot take, Discord is lit as hell. I know there were allegations or rumors or whatever whatever WHATEVER! She is tv gold DID U SEE THE CLIP FROM UNTUCKED? The audacity girllll I can't but I'm living. I love her aesthetic probably the most out of all the queens.

Again, Darlene is so fucking cute can someone do a psych analysis on why that is? Her look wasn't even the best but UGHHHH OHMYGOD it really did fit her vibe and brand I love it I love it I love it.

FIRST LIPSYNC OF 2026

THANK FUCKING GODDD Nini was in the top two because SHE TORE THE LIPSYNC DOWN TO THE GROUND AND ALL AROUND. She nailed every single nuance, lyric, moment, literally everything was PERFECTIONNNN she is absolutely one to watch.

The song was so good too omg! I do not listen to Cardi B at allll but I have listened to Enough so many times over the past week wow! She's also probably one of my fav celeb guest judges she was making me giggle hehe

Final Thoughts

Guys, I love this show. This premiere ep made me so excited for this season I already KNOW it's gonna be a really good one, the whole entire cast is so tea. It's gonna be hard seeing these girls sashay away but it's gotta happen!
